Birdwatching Tour

Overview

Skadar Lake is one of Europe's most important bird habitats, home to over 280 species. This tour focuses on observing the lake's avifauna in its natural setting, with early morning departures recommended for the best activity.

The boat moves silently through reed channels and key habitat zones — feeding grounds, nesting areas, and open water where raptors patrol. You may encounter the rare Dalmatian Pelican, Great White Egret, Pygmy Cormorant, and many others.

There is dedicated time for photography and observation. Binoculars are recommended (bring your own or ask in advance). The route is adjusted by the captain based on where the birds are that day.
